Sweet dreams

I’m staring at a map that has no letters

I usually do better

But this time I’m lost for words

I fold back the map, and look up

To a skyline crumbling down

Dust clouds form and spread

A wave of insecurity floats along

So hate is ejected in every direction

Love no longer exists

And truth is a lie we were told

Every person that we know, is just what we need

A cold-hearted devil, to count our good deeds

You wake up, suddenly

Gasping for life

Opening your eyes, you see

That it is worse than you thought
